Hi, we're John and Ola

John's best friend is a VP of Underwriting at a major Canadian wholesaler. After years of hearing about the same headaches (hours lost to manual data entry, submissions falling through the cracks, brokers chasing down the same documents over and over), he started wondering if we could help. Ola worked at Faire solving wholesale marketplace problems: matching hundreds of thousands of retailers and brands, managing inventory, keeping everyone in sync. Pretty similar to what insurance wholesalers deal with.

We're not insurance lifers, and we won't pretend to know everything. We've spent time embedded in wholesale offices. We've watched folks wrestle with ACORD forms at 7pm. We've walked the floors at conferences from WSIA to local I-Days and heard the frustration with current workflows. Wholesalers are brilliant at understanding complex risk and structuring coverage. They shouldn't waste that expertise chasing email threads and re-entering the same data into five different systems.

We're building Underflow so wholesalers can focus on the judgment calls only humans can make.
